Boy of The Week!!

I'm gonna start posting who i think the hottest guy of the week is starting today!

This week's is....... Kenton Duty!!! :)

If you don't recognize this name then don't worry, you'll probably be seeing his face on your tv soon!! :)


Kenton Duty stars in Disney Channel's newest hit, Shake It Up! (in my opinion it's one of the few that are actually worth watching) He plays Gunther, the foreign exchange student from the country that nobody knows the name of. He and his twin sister Tinka (played by Caroline Sunshine) are part of Chicago's hit danc show, Shake It Up Chicago.

He has also played large roles in the final season of Lost and the Tim Allen movie, Crazy On The Oustide.  On Shake It Up, Gunther and Tinka are like the Sharpay and Ryan of Chicago. (Gunther's attitude resembles Sharpay and Tinka`s attitude is more like Ryan)

Keep your eyes on the lookout for this triple threat, 15 year old cutie! :)

BTR Cd!!!!!! =]

So on Oct 11, Big Time Rush (aka one of the best bands in the world!!!) released their 1st cd, BTR! It has 11 songs on it and they are all amazing! I love all of them but these are the rankings for the songs....

    1. Worldwide & Nothing Even Matters ~ both songs are equally sweet and the lyrics make you want to say awhhh! (and possibly want the big time rush boys to be your big time boyfriend :P)
 
    3.    Oh Yeah ~ an awesome party song that has you wanting to get up and dance by the time the 2nd verse starts!

   4.   Big Night ~ if you're having a bad day then this song will definately lift your spirits!
  
   5.   Till I Forget About You ~ a cheerful breakup song that will be helpful for a bf/gf breakup or a friend breakup (or something else you want to forget, like a big math test :P, okay that was a joke, you still need to study for a math test no matter what or else you'll be stuck working at McDonald's!)

   6. I Know You Know & Boyfriend ~ both are great songs, I Know You Know is good to let lose to and if you need to plan a dance routine at anytime, Boyfriend is perfect! ( i mean that in a good way :) if you need to practice dance moves for anything it's got the perfect beat for it!)

   8. City Is Ours ~ okay so you know how you sometimes get that unstoppable perfect party feeling? this song sums up that in 3:11! i always listen to it before a dance,party or when i travel to a new place

   9. Halfway There ~ this song helps when you're working towards your goals in life and decide to give up, it reminds you that you've made it this far so keep going or else you won't go anywhere

  10.  Count On You ~ a great love song that was originally* a duet with Jordin Sparks, this song appeared in the episode Big Time Sparks in which Jordin guest starred!  * i said originally because i haven't heard the album version yet :( i still only have the tv version.

  11. Big Time Rush (Theme Song) ~ the theme song for the show has all 4 guys singing in it and it talks about how instead of living life the way everyone else does, you should shake it up once in a while and just let loose sometimes!

Review: 3 words; Ah-maz-ing!!! This cd shows a slightly different side of the band, a different non-nickelodeon side that shows they can appeal to anybody. Quite a few of these songs are designed for getting attention from mainstream radio stations (Oh Yeah is definatley one of them)!

i just found some awesome covers by Kendall Schmidt (Kendall from Big Time Rush!). he did a great job of Drive by Incubus, Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings and he and Logan Henderson (Logan from Big Time Rush) rocked the song Edge Of Desire originally sung by John Mayer. these are all on Kendall's youtube channel, K3ndall Schmidt. you all should check them out!

also, Kendall and his friend Dustin Belt (D-Belt) have a non-BTR band called Heffron Drive. there songs are some of my favourites like Love Letter, Time Wastin', Better Get To Movin' and Stand Forever. They also have a myspace account where you can listen to everyone of their songs, read their blogposts, view pictures and when you add them as a friend, you can send them messages!

so everyone knows who David Archuleta is (unless you've been living under a rock or in  antarctica with penguins!) i personally love his music so David, if your reading this, i'm a huge fan but today i wanted to mention that David has just recently released a new cd called The Other Side Of Down. I haven't actually listened to it yet but i have heard the single from it, Something Bout Love. It's a pretty awesome song but I will always love the songs My Hands and Crush. You guys should all listen to it! let me know what you think!

This is Carly. She is the one who keeps everyone in line and is one of the stars of a web show called iCarly which she and her friends film in the attic of her brother's apartment.

This is Sam. Sam is one of Carly's best friends and she's also the troublemaking,crazy one on the show. Sam is always there for her friends when they need her. She is Carly's co-star for their webshow

This is Freddie. He has had a crush on Carly since 6th grade and is the tech producer for iCarly. He and Sam are almost constantly fighting with each other. Without him, iCarly wouldn't be able to function.

BTR pt 6: Music :D

Although Big Time Rush is a comedy show about a boy band, they are also an actual band. Today's topic is all about the music!

Big Time Rush is releasing there 1st album on Oct. 11, 2010. The album is titled B.T.R. and includes 11 songs including the theme song and a duet with Jordin Sparks.

BTR part 5 :D

Well so far i've gotten quite a few views so i'm thinking you guys like Big Time Rush and today is all about.. "The Face", James Maslow!

James David Maslow was born on July 16,1990 in New York, New York and was raised in La Jolla, California. He began training for singing at age 6 when his parents signed him up for choir. He attended 5 different schools including 2 elementary schools and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts.

At age 10, he recieved a small role in the San Diego Opera performance of La Boheme. At age 14 he had his first agent and starred as Danny Zuko in his high school production of Grease. Halfway through grade 10 he dropped out of Creative and Performing Arts and switched to Coronado School of the Arts. Maslow's television debut was on the season 2 premiere of iCarly as Shane, a boy who Sam and Carly were fighting over. The episode which was called iSaw Him First also has a game created after it called iKissed Him First. the link to the game is here:http://www.nick.com/games/icarly-ikissed.html. He also has a new movie called Master's Tree that is set for a 2011 release. The movie relvolves around several foster children (led by Maslow's character) who runaway from their home in Mississippi to Memphis.

Alright so today is all about Carlos Pena who is a third member of Big Time Rush.

Carlos Pena Jr was born on August 15,1989 in Columbia Missouri. His mother is Dominican and his father is Spanish/Venezuelan. He has a younger brother Andres (1996) and a younger sister Isabella (2004). Pena was raised in Weston, Florida and attended Sagemont Upper School. His first major role was at age 15 on ER as the 15 year old son of a wounded police officer who gets the authority to choose his father's treatments. He then guest starred on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Summerland. In 2007, he was a contestant on MTV's Making Menudo and he and his mother travelled between Southern Florida and Hollywood. During this time, Carlos was homeschooled. He was studying music at the Boston Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts when his manager told him to auditon for Big Time Rush. Pena reluctantly sent in an auditon tape and won the role of Carlos Garcia a month later. He now lives in California with his castmates, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson and James Maslow.

big time rush part 3

Yesterday I talked about Kendall Schmidt from Big Time Rush so if you haven't already guessed  my theme then after today you probably will because now i'm gonna talk about Logan Henderson, who is one of Kendall's bandmates.....

Logan Phillip Henderson was born on September 14,1989 in North Richland Hills, Texas to American-Lebanese parents. He has only had one other acting credit as a bully on the show Friday Night Lights in 2008. He auditioned for the role of Logan Mitchell in 2007 and recieved the part at the same time as fellow castmate Carlos Pena Jr. The 2 boys were chosen of thousands of other teenagers. Henderson had only been living California for a short time when he auditioned for Big Time Rush. He credits snowboarding as his favourite past time and is currently touring with Big Time Rush across the US.
